Hi I’m Jo, I own Beyond The Brows which is a permanent makeup studio based in a private clinic setting that offers all things PMU including Scalp Micropigmentation, Microblading ,powder brows and lip blush.
Microblading is a technique that uses a handheld tool to create hair-like strokes on the eyebrows, giving them a natural appearance.Not suitable for oily,porous,mature or thin skin types.
Permanent makeup can last anywhere from 1-2 years before a top up is required , depending on the individual's skin type and lifestyle.
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)is a safe hairloss solution where pigment is planted into the dermis using a machine,mimicking hair follicles giving a shaved head look or to add density.
Powder brows also known as ombré are done using a shading method with a machine to give more of a powdered makeup effect.They give more coverage than Microblading but can still look natural or bold ,depending on preference .
The general feedback off clients is minimal to none,some have even fell asleep.
Lip blush is minimal pain as numbing products are applied throughout.Some clients feel scratches and some don’t feel anything, it’s individual each client is different.
